Rafting and canoeing

Rafting and kayaking are strictly permitted only on a designated stretch of the Zrmanja River—from the bridge in the center of Kaštel Žegarski to the iron bridge in Muškovci. When water levels drop to the point that navigation could directly endanger or damage the Zrmanja’s habitat, especially tufa formation processes, rafting and kayaking are halted.

Independent boat descent is not allowed: all rafting and kayaking must be organized through licensed agencies responsible for water activities on the Zrmanja River.
