Collection and Use of Personal Data
Personal data entered by visitors when registering, submitting, or sending inquiries via the contact form on this website, by sending inquiries via email to velebit@pp-velebit.hr, or by postal mail to the Public Institution Velebit Nature Park, Kaniža Gospićka 4b, 53000 Gospić, is used exclusively for future correspondence between the Public Institution Velebit Nature Park and the individual submitting the inquiry, and only in relation to the specific matter of application or inquiry.
The submission of personal data is voluntary and constitutes the sender’s consent for its use in the context of correspondence and resolution of the submitted inquiry or application.
Data is stored in the database of the Public Institution Velebit Nature Park and kept in full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation [GDPR (EU) 2016/679].
The Public Institution Velebit Nature Park will not disclose personal data to third parties, except where there is a legal obligation to do so. The Public Institution has implemented physical, technical, and organizational measures to prevent data breaches, such as loss or damage, as well as unauthorized access, alteration, or processing of personal data. Security measures have been introduced to prevent unauthorized persons from accessing personal data processing, and to safeguard the security of personal data being stored or transmitted so it cannot be read, copied, modified, lost, deleted, or destroyed without authorization. Personal data is retained only for as long as is strictly necessary.
The data subject has the right to request from the Public Institution Velebit Nature Park access to their personal data, as well as to request correction or erasure, restrict processing, object to such processing, and exercise the right to data portability—all in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation [GDPR (EU) 2016/679].
